Who Is Behind PortuGuide?
PortuGuide was founded by Bikrant Niure, who has been living in Portugal since 2018.
Having lived in Portugal for several years and worked in the immigration and nationality-related field, Bikrant has developed first-hand experience with the challenges faced by immigrants and applicants navigating Portuguese administrative and immigration procedures.
His experience has included working with topics surrounding Portuguese immigration, residency, nationality and the practical challenges encountered by people building their lives in Portugal.
That experience is one of the reasons PortuGuide was created.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Portuguese Government, IRN, Conservatória dos Registos Centrais, or another Portuguese government entity. Official government sources remain the final authority regarding an individual’s nationality application.
The official Portuguese Justice portal also provides a government service for applicants to check the status of their nationality process using their consultation code. CitizHub is intended as an additional independent tool to help applicants organize and understand their journey.
